
Home Health Aide (HHA)
Home Health Aide Essential Functions:

Provides direct client care at home following a specified care plan and adhering to safety protocols.​

Requires current NYS HHA certification and a professional appearance.​

Assists with personal care, household tasks, transportation, and medication reminders.​

Monitors and reports on the client’s condition to the supervising nurse or case coordinator.​

Offers emotional support and education to clients and their families.​

Performs household support duties like linen changes, laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and engages clients in activities.​​

Involves physical activity including lifting, transferring patients, and working in varied home environments with potential exposure to patient elements.
