Personal Care Services
Personal care services encompass a range of non-medical assistance and support provided to individuals who need help with activities of daily living (ADLs) due to aging, disability, illness, or injury.

Personal Care services are designed to promote independence, maintain dignity, and enhance the overall quality of life for clients. Here’s an overview of the services offered as part of the Personal Care Program at BHRAGS.
Bathing and Showering
We assist clients with bathing and showering, ensuring proper hygiene and helping them feel clean and refreshed.
Dressing and Grooming
We help clients with dressing and grooming tasks such as selecting appropriate clothing, brushing hair, shaving, and applying makeup.
Toileting and Incontinence Care
We provide assistance with toileting activities, including transferring to and from the toilet, managing incontinence products, and maintaining bathroom hygiene.
Mobility Assistance
We offer support with mobility and transferring, helping clients move safely around their homes, use mobility aids (such as walkers or canes), and prevent falls.
Transferring and Positioning
We assist clients with transferring between beds, chairs, or other surfaces, using proper techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
Feeding and Meal Assistance
We help clients with feeding if they have difficulty feeding themselves, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
Medication Reminders
Personal care aides provide reminders to clients to take their medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication regimens.
Oral Hygiene
We assist clients with oral hygiene tasks such as brushing teeth, flossing, and using mouthwash, promoting dental health and preventing oral issues.
Skin Care
Personal care aides assist clients with skincare tasks such as applying lotion, moisturizer, or barrier cream to prevent dryness, irritation, or pressure sores.
Assistance with Medical Equipment
We help clients use medical equipment and assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, or CPAP machines.
Exercise Assistance
We assist clients with prescribed exercises or physical therapy routines to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
Cognitive Support
We provide cognitive support and engagement activities to stimulate mental alertness and prevent cognitive decline, such as puzzles, games, or reminiscing.
Emotional Support
Personal care aides offer companionship, emotional support, and a listening ear to clients, providing encouragement and empathy during difficult times.
